Ballwin, Missouri curbside leaf collection schedule—Ballwin Public Works Department began its curbside leaf collection program on October 29.  The Department reminds residents not to rake leaves into the gutter which could block storm sewers.   Leaves are being collected along streets south of Manchester Road on either Tuesday or Thursday.  Leaves on the north of Manchester Road are collected on either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.  The intent is to collect them once each week, but volume and weather conditions may cause delays. Leaves will only be collected during normal work hours. Residents are also reminded that the city-wide waste hauler, Allied Waste, Inc., will also pick them up as part of the yard waste collection if they are in yard waste bags or separate containers.  Due to the short work week, leaves will not be collected during the Thanksgiving holiday. This service may be curtailed due to snow.  All city maintained streets will be swept in December, weather permitting.
